LCS is a local 501C3 NGO that has been providing significant programming to the Latino/Hispanic community for almost 20 years, will open a location here to provide Bilingual Preschool Classes, After-School Tutoring, Adult Affinity Groups, Parent-Child Education, Gang Awareness Training, Kindermusik, and Recreation and Enrichment Activities. Their impacts include:

Forsyth Technical Community College
FTCC is a leading educational institution based in Winston-Salem, is interested in offering some of their valuable educational opportunities on site, right in the middle of the Waughtown community. Some of these could include:

North Carolina Rush Youth Soccer
Rush is a 501C3 youth soccer organization that has been serving the underserved community in Winston-Salem for 37 years. By relocating to this site, they will be bringing their soccer programming right into the backyards of the largest Hispanic/Latino community in Winston-Salem. This will open up the opportunities for significantly more youth to be able to participate in the sport that they love. Rush offers all levels of soccer, including Competitive Travel, Recreational Youth and Recreational Adult. Rush has one of the Top College Development programs in the country and it will be right in the middle of Waughtown!
North Carolina YOUTH Soccer Association
NCYSA is a nonprofit organization that offers many soccer opportunities for youth and adults, including soccer leagues, soccer referee certifications, soccer coaching education and more. NCYSA is excited about these opportunities being able to be offered at the new site for both youth and adults. For example, youth ages 14 and up are able to earn great wages as a soccer referee. In addition to the money, the youth gain leadership and communications skills, learn how to deal with adversity, and much more. With both classrooms and soccer fields at the same location, this is an ideal location to be able to offer referee certification classes there!
